Table manners
Table Manners =Table Manners are very important to Chinese people. The host usually signals when it is appropriate to start eating, after each person has taken rice and picked up chopsticks and then the host says, “Sik Fan.” The guests usually start eating by taking food from the plates and placing it in the persons bowl and then bringing the bowl up to the mouth and putting the food in. A guest who does the opposite will be insults the hosts directly. The host should always take care of all his guests because he is inviting them to enjoy their meal. If a person wants to use a tooth pick they have to cover it with their opposite hand. Sucking or chewing on the chopsticks is also considered bad manners. It is bad manners for a person to take a bowl of food for themselves and scrape out the remaining food, in china this indicates self-loving. It is also rude to try to keep up with one another, eat huge mouthfuls and chew nosily.
