The Table

Table = A normal Chinese table is round or square, as many people who can be seated comfortably around it conveniently face one another.  When the food comes in, each person gets a private bowl of rice or grain (fan) and also get their private chopsticks, saucer and spoon. Lots of shared dishes get placed in the middle of the table. But sometimes the chopsticks are considered both. The guest of honour is always seated to the right of the host, the next in line will sit on his left.
